Lot's of products can help hide psoriasis - the trick is to use washing grains (specifically for body or face) to remove the scales first of all. Do this a few hours before a special event, then moisturise before adding the concealer.
Take some with you in a small pot or tube so you can reapply as necessary.

"I've had Psoriasis since I was 30 years old. At first I hid myself away...a lot. It was distressing...and embarrassing. No one wants to look like a snake after all. Later I realised that it was possible to learn to live with the condition, to cope and even thrive.
I think one of the things that helped me the most was that so many celebrities and famous people have Psoriasis. If they can manage to live with the condition in the public-eye then I could too." Jacky's article online Here
"In 2006, on the 300th anniversary of his birth, Psoriasis Cure Now declared Benjamin Franklin the “Greatest American with Psoriasis.”
We even had a Franklin look-alike walk the halls of Congress handing out psoriasis information to drive our message about the need for more psoriasis research funding."
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has tweeted a photograph of her psoriasis to her 9 million followers.
Mother Kris Jenner, who stars with Kim in the TV Show 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' also lives with the condition.
Kim found it hard at first, ""People don't understand the pressure on me to look perfect," Kardashian said on the show. "When I gain a pound, it's in the headlines. Imagine what the tabloids would do to me if they saw all these spots?"
Before important events or photo-shoots I try and do a few sessions in a hot tub (or failing that, several long soaks in the bath) - this helps to get rid of white flakes, lifting them off and floating them away!
I try and fit in a couple of sun-bed sessions (my doctor disapproves) or several sessions out in the sun which really helps to dry up the condition.
Face make-up (or concealer) is applied on the smooth dots on my arms and legs (the waxy concealer lasts really well).
I wear sparkly tops, jackets and scarves to help disguise flakes from my scalp.

Get a colour make-over. Find the colours that work best for your skin tone and wear these colours all the time in patterns, stripes and textures.
Avoid black (which shows the flakes) in worst flaking areas of the body.
Invest in fabulous photographs of yourself by a professional so you always have at least one nice photo of how you look now - get it airbrushed...or learn how to do it yourself using an art programme like Paint Shop Pro.
Be dramatic in bold make up, colours and jewellery - it's a great distraction technique.
Everyone has something they don't like about themselves - you probably have no idea what other people's issues are! Likewise they won't notice your psoriasis.
Ask your doctor to refer you to a dermatologist - many treatments can ONLY be prescribed by your dermatologist direct. Keep asking, keep pushing for help - never give up.
Edgar Cayce (pronounced Kay-Cee, 1877-1945) has been called the "sleeping prophet," the "father of holistic medicine," and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce gave psychic "readings" to thousands of seekers while in an unconscious state, diagnosing illnesses and revealing lives lived in the past and prophecies yet to come.
He had a LOT to say about Psoriasis and many people have been helped by his cures (Many doctors work with his suggestions also. One involved drinking Saffron Tea...I'm currently trying out his suggestions myself so will let you know how I get on. READ MORE on the link below.
Psoriasis (suh-RI-uh-sus) is a disease which affects the skin and joints. It commonly causes red scaly patches to appear on the skin. The scaly patches caused by psoriasis, called psoriatic plaques, are areas of inflammation and excessive skin production. Skin rapidly accumulates at these sites and takes a silvery-white appearance. Plaques frequently occur on the skin of the elbows and knees, but can affect any area including the scalp and genitals. Psoriasis is hypothesized to be immune-mediated and is not contagious.
Psoriasis affects both sexes equally and can occur at any age, although it most commonly appears for the first time between the ages of 15 and 25 years. The cause of psoriasis is not known, but it is believed to have a genetic component. Several factors are thought to aggravate psoriasis. These include stress, excessive alcohol consumption, and smoking. Individuals with psoriasis may suffer from depression and loss of self-esteem.
"I wanted to put a face with the disease." The country singer said. "More than 7 million people are living with psoriasis, and I want people to know that there is hope. What people really don't understand is that psoriasis is a chronic immune disease that's been linked to heart disease, obesity, and depression. And it's not just physical: It's emotional, and it's social."
Newlywed socialite and reality TV star Kim Kardashian has found a breakthrough in her battle with psoriasis.
Kardashian, who revealed all about her skin condition on TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, has tried all manner of treatments without success, but now she's on top of the complaint - and she has posted before-and-after photos on her blog to promote the new spray she's using.
She writes, "I’m using Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs spray and it is my lifesaver at the moment! I love this stuff! It really covers up my psoriasis so well!"

Common myths and misconceptions about psoriasis:
- Psoriasis is contagious - you can't "catch" psoriasis from another person
- Psoriasis is caused by poor hygiene - cleanliness has nothing to do with it, the disease starts way below the surface of the skin
- Psoriasis is a 'cosmetic' problem - aside from the physical pain and discomfort, sufferers also experience emotional and psychological anguish
- Psoriasis can be cured - it may flare up and then clear, but the condition is chronic (long-term) and incurable
- Psoriasis cannot be treated - existing and exciting new treatment options can help control and manage the symptoms
Giving up all dairy, ALL :) and taking zinc supplements. It wasn't me, but someone close to me who cured himself this way. But it has to be absolutely all or nothing.
