I have two; Tigger, a big ginger tom and Magik, a dainty black female. My cats once did an interview with animal psychic Jackie Weaver. Spookily, the things 'they' said about me were very accurate.

Both cats usually follow me around the house and they often sit right on top of the desk when I write - good job I have a big desk!

Both cats have featured in my books and have been in several magazine features over the years including Cornwall Today, Your Cat magazine and Chat its fate.

I am particularly fond of vanilla scents and regularly wear 'Angel' perfume by Thierry Mugler.

...just the occasional glass of course! My favourite is Moët & Chandon. Astrologer David Wells once bought me a glass of champagne in Selfridges in London! (Cheers David),

I love costume jewellery ...big and gold; stars, hearts and angels are my favourite designs. I am also a fan of crystal jewellery and have many pieces, mainly set in silver.

I have some beautiful pieces which fans have sent to me over the years and I really cherish them.

I am lucky enough to have a dressing room at home and I have a cabinet with a light in which I used to display my costume jewellery. Some of the pieces only cost one or two pounds but when it's displayed in the cabinet it looks like an expensive jewellery shop! It's such fun! The gold plated and blingy crystal pieces are probably my favourite!

I keep my best pieces on shop display stands (black velvet neck stands and necklace and bangle holders).

I love flowers but if I purchase them for myself I'll probably go for lily's. I also love orchids and have them all over the house. Some of them I've had for years and amazingly they continue to thrive even though they get neglected!

I really love eagles and owls...in fact, everytime I see an owl at an exhibition of some sort I feel drawn to have my photo taken with them! I only like to see them in the wild though...

I love scented candles and burn them every day...favourite scents are vanilla, spice and roses.

I also love the incense 'Nag Champa' because it's a natural product and smells divine!

My jewellery cabinet

Nothing would be possible without John. We work together at Angel Lady Ltd although John prefers to work behind the scenes. He drives me to events, organises my entire life, builds websites...does all the boring paperwork and even cooks my dinner (over and above the call of duty don't you think?)

He loves his motorbike almost as much as me and is out on it every time the sun shines.

I've written about him in many of my books...he's the one that keeps my feet firmly on the ground and we've been together for nearly 30 years!

- I'm a pescetarian, which means I don't eat meat but I do eat fish.

- I have the skin condition psoriasis (like reality TV star Kim Kardashion, and singer LeAnn Rimes), and try and raise public awareness about the condition whenever I can. It's not catching!

- I once filmed a TV pilot and was asked to climb inside a 'coffin'. The film crew sat on the top...trapping me in but it wasn't scary, even though it was pitch dark. The coffin was padded out inside and was actually rather comfortable! No one said my life was normal!

- I have three sisters, but I'm the eldest. My sister Madeline and I have written a book together about our Dad; 'Call me when you get to Heaven' (published by Piatkus) November 2011. More here

- I love anything sparkly or gold...if its gold and sparkly together even better.
